Remembering Aleppo…
It hurts to see images showing destruction almost everywhere. Human lives absolutely have no value. 100s of people die on daily bases, 1000s get to be displaced and many  historical areas in the city and even old ruins are targets in this war.
I wish I have taken more images of these areas… but I guess I always felt like this is Aleppo, it is such an old city that everything will remain in its place forever. I am sure no one ever imagined this might happen in a country that was always controlled and safe.

Back to  ::: New York :::

Leaving Beirut this time was definitely different. For the first time I am leaving the city to a place I already know. I knew I wasn't going to experience something new, yet with more uncertainty.

When I quit my job back in 2010 going to Japan, I was in a state of excitement, though worried, but it was a unique phase of my life and I knew it was going to be a great, sometimes weird and unique experience.

Heading to New York for the first time, for me was one of those things that you decide to do without too much analyzing the consequences, without remembering most of the details and hoping this to be a great, interesting and even more challenging opportunity.

Today, I need to settle again. I've had amazing two years that changed my life. I am a different person, the only thing I miss is the stability I used to enjoy. I just hope to find my path soon... I need to settle
